Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to service brides and their guests in store. You will coordinate alterations, fittings, and garment care while delivering friendly, knowledgeable customer experiences.

Responsibilities include advising on gown fit, solving issues, and supporting sales with personalized alterations and customization options. Strong sewing skills and POS familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion preferred.
• Prior POS system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by phone, chat or in person with friendly enthusiasm.
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Maintain service levels and meet customers’ emotional and practical needs.
• Assist stylists in closing sales through gown fit consultations.
• Inspect garments and ensure quality before delivery to customer.
• Process transactions accurately at cash wrap and resolve issues.
