Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to deliver high‑quality fittings and alterations with friendly, expert service. You will manage customer flow, assist stylists, and ensure exceptional care from fitting to final delivery in a fast‑paced bridal retail environment.

Participation in a part‑time schedule includes various shifts, completing alterations to brand standards, and maintaining a welcoming, organized alterations area while supporting store goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal or occasion wear.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via chats.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five‑star experience.
• Perform alterations, fittings, steaming, and garment care to David’s Bridal standards.
• Support stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Keep the alterations room clean, organized, and compliant with policies.
