Job summary

Alterations Specialists are responsible for completing fittings and alterations to high standards and report to the Store Manager. They provide friendly, knowledgeable service and contribute to a five-star customer experience.

Responsibilities include assisting stylists with gown fit and customization, managing alterations, and ensuring garments meet quality standards before delivery to the customer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist alterations customers in person, over the phone, and online.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, and pressing to company standards.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Provide five-star customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options to customers.
