Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering superior customer service. You will work with the alterations team to manage multiple customers, promote alterations services, and assist stylists with gown fittings.

The role requires sewing experience, strong communication skills, and a focus on a five-star customer experience. This is a part-time position reporting to store management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with alterations appointments, problem solve, and communicate clearly.
• Manage alterations workflow and ensure five-star customer experience.
• Maintain quality standards for garments altered, steamed, and finished.
• Assist stylists in gown fittings and customization discussions.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and adhere to dress code policies.
• Handle customer questions and build lasting relationships.
