Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a brewery operator to produce wort and maintain brewing equipment and facility.

The role focuses on safe, efficient brewing processes including milling, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, cooling, and transferring to storage. You will work with Lab Technician to ensure quality, perform cleaning and maintenance, manage inventory, and follow standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
• Brewing passion and commitment.
• Able to lift heavy objects and work in cold environments.
• Willing to work nights, days, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete brewing process in a safe and efficient manner.
• Repair brewery equipment with assistance from other Brewhouse employees.
• Completion of daily cleaning and maintenance checklists
• Aid with yeast propagation following Company's process.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house.
• Work with Lab Technician to ensure our product meets our standards of the highest quality.
• Maintaining the use of standard operating procedures unless otherwise instructed.
• Communicate regularly and efficiently with Granite City staff.
• Maintain inventory as needed. Report any low levels of inventory to your supervisor when necessary.
• Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform others duties as assigned.
