Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. seeks a Brewhouse Operator to produce wort and maintain brewing equipment and the facility. You will handle milling, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, cooling, and transferring to storage vessels, while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Daily tasks include cleaning, equipment repairs with team support, yeast propagation, and maintaining SOPs. You will closely coordinate with Lab Technicians and Granite City staff, manage inventory, and complete paperwork on time.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• Brewing experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass Motor Vehicle Records background check.
• Flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete brewing process safely and efficiently, including milling, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, cooling, and transferring to storage vessels.
• Repair brewery equipment with assistance from Brewhouse team.
• Complete daily cleaning and maintenance checklists.
• Assist with yeast propagation following company processes.
• Maintain cleanliness of all Brewhouse areas and inventory as needed.
• Work with Lab Technician to ensure product quality, follow SOPs.
• Communicate regularly with Granite City staff and supervisor.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
