Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a brewery production operator in Davenport, IA. You will produce wort, maintain brewing equipment, and support quality standards. This role involves following SOPs, collaborating with lab staff, and ensuring clean, safe operation of the brew house.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Passion and commitment for brewing.
• Able to lift heavy objects (e.g., 50 lb malt bags) and work in cold environments.
• Stand for extended periods and work unsupervised or in a team.
• Understand MSDS and handle chemicals used in the brewery.

Responsibilities

• Complete brewing process safely and efficiently including milling, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, cooling, and transferring.
• Repair brewery equipment with assistance from Brewhouse staff.
• Complete daily cleaning and maintenance checklists.
• Aid yeast propagation following Company's process.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house.
• Collaborate with Lab Technician to ensure product quality.
• Follow standard operating procedures unless instructed otherwise.
• Maintain inventory and report low levels to supervisor.
• Attend shifts on time with a positive attitude.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
