Job summary

Octopi Brewing LLC in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a Brewhouse Brewer (Hot Side) to help turn raw ingredients into finished wort. This full-time role focuses on precise, efficient brewing with ownership of yeast propagation and opportunities for advancement through our Brewer Career Matrix.

You will learn and operate all brewhouse piping and equipment, perform quality checks, and maintain logs. Competitive pay by shift and strong benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of brewing experience.
• Degree in Brewing Science/Technology preferred.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in brewing/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all brewhouse piping and equipment.
• Execute brewing operations from raw material intake to finished wort.
• Own yeast propagation from start to finish.
• Perform routine quality checks, basic maintenance, and CIP on brewhouse equipment and piping.
• Keep accurate brewing logs and sanitation records.
