SusieCakes in Brentwood, TN seeks a General Manager to lead bakery operations and deliver an elevated guest experience. You will guide the team, manage staffing and budgets, and ensure superb hospitality while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a bustling environment.

The role requires 3-5 years in leadership within luxury, hospitality, food service, or retail, a business/hospitality background preferred, and flexibility to work across locations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of managerial/leadership experience in luxury, hospitality, food service and/or retail.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or hospitality management, preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple regional locations.
• Flexible schedule according to business needs.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

SusieCakes has 31 bakeries across CA, TX & TN. We bake from scratch daily using the finest ingredients.

We're hiring a General Manager with:

• 3+ years in bakery/restaurant/retail leadership
• Passion for guest experience & team development

Salary:yearSchedule: 47.5 hrs/week, including weekends & evenings

The General Manager leads the team on delivering an elevated guest experience within the bakery. Creating a fun, lively and celebratory environment. Delivering on success metrics based on the happiness of our team members and guests.

Leadership Attributes:

• Leads the team in building genuine guest connections and world class hospitality to Makes Days Better
• Supports and works in the kitchen and manages the production process to ensure quality products are delivered
• Manages all business goals (staffing (payroll), operating expenses, and budgets)
• Manages the development & training of all employees
• Ensures proper safety procedures are being followed and maintains a clean and sanitary environment in accordance with the Excellence Log and health department standards
• Possesses and demonstrates a “One team, One goal” philosophy
• Understand and creates partnerships with the community to grow the business and brand

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds
