Job summary

SusieCakes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead guest service across multiple bakery locations. This manager-in-training role inspires, trains, and supports the guest service team, while assisting the General Manager with daily operations and metrics.

The AGM will foster a friendly, high-energy environment, align with the One Team philosophy, and help drive bakery performance through accountable planning, coaching, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Two years of managerial/leadership experience in luxury, hospitality, food service or retail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Ability to train, coach, and counsel team members.
• Exposure to financial and operational accountabilities.
• Ability to work in multiple regional locations.
• Flexible schedule according to business needs.
• Reliable transportation.

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) position is a manager in training role. They inspire, train, and support the guest service team. Additionally, they support the General Manager with the guest service needs for multiple locations.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead
