Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation methods and operation of equipment.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications in line with policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient boundaries.
