Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and support radiologists in a patient-centered imaging environment across our network of imaging centers.

Responsibilities include performing procedures per policy, assisting with ultrasound-guided biopsies, and ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance; a diploma, SPI, and ARDMS certification are required or eligible, with BLS mandatory. Pay is $25–$40 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and the operation of the instruments used in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and take appropriate action as needed.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications in accordance with company policies.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient boundaries.
