Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and operation of instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical problems.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy.
