Job summary

Advocate Health's Breast Care Center in Illinois seeks a Radiologic Technologist with expertise in mammography and breast ultrasound to support physician referrals and MQSA guidelines. You will document images electronically, position patients for standard and alternative views, educate patients, ensure privacy, and perform quality control in PenRad and RadNet while coordinating with Radiologists.

Required: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT Mammography eligible, 1–2 years

Qualifications

• Possess high degree of technical knowledge for specialized ultrasound
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle anxious and fearful patients
• Experience with radiologic technology and breast sonography is preferred

Responsibilities

• Screen and perform mammograms and breast ultrasound per protocols
• Accurately document patient images electronically and in PenRad/RadNet
• Position breast to obtain standard/alternative views; educate patients
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; ensure comfort and safety
• Perform MQSA-related quality control and machine maintenance
