Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to join the team in Illinois. You will be responsible for performing quality mammograms, educating patients, and maintaining strong patient relations within a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered radiologic technologist with mammography experience.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 3 years as a radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients to ensure needs are met promptly and respectfully.
• Perform mammograms with compassion and accuracy.
• Educate patients before, during, and after exams.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, staff and physicians.
• Review patient satisfaction data and participate in quality improvements.
• Resolve patient issues and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Operate mammography equipment safely and accurately, following QA protocols.
• Document data entries in HIS/RIS and participate in CQI initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to improve departmental productivity and patient care.
