Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center in the Breast Health department seeks a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography and ultrasound. This full-time 32-hour/week role requires precise imaging and patient education, adhering to MQSA guidelines.

Qualifications

Breast Sonography under ARRT eligible.
Graduate of AMA Approved Program in Radiologic Technology.
1 - 2 years experience as Radiologic Technologist or sonographer.
40 hours of specialized training and continuing education in mammography.
Knowledge of breast anatomy.
Need to recognize patients experiencing fear or anxiety.
Possess high degree of technical knowledge to perform more specialized U/S studies with minimal amount of assistance from Radiologist.
CPR Certification.
IDNS License.

Responsibilities

Perform screening, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasound procedures per protocols.
Accurately document patient images electronically.
Position patients and adjust technique to obtain appropriate views.
Educate patients before and after procedures.
Maintain MQSA quality control standards.
