Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen associate to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines. You will participate in occasional catering functions and rotate through all kitchen positions while maintaining safety and hospitality standards.

The role involves following recipes, managing inventory with FIFO, and ensuring food is served at proper temperatures. Training and safety procedures are provided; paid time varies by state and position.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portions.
• Willingness to follow recipes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain hot/cold food temperatures.
• Prepare menu items and batch cook per the plan with FIFO inventory control.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and keep areas clean.
• Assist with administrative tasks and cash handling as needed.
