Job summary

Keke's Breakfast Cafe – Flamingo Partners is hiring a Cook for the Boca Raton location. The role involves accurately and efficiently cooking foods and preparing portions for service, maintaining quality, and supporting kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include operating grills and fryers, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting in food prep and closing duties. Availability from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, including holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Be able to stand for long periods.
• Communicate clearly in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Exceptional grooming habits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food items on grills, broiler, cook top, waffle baker, Panini press and fryer.
• Ensure the quality of products prepared and served.
• Maintain standard portion sizes, cooking methods and kitchen procedures.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at line stations.
• Keep work station, equipment and refrigeration clean and sanitary.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish setup for dishes.
• Handle, store and rotate products properly.
• Assist in food prep during off-peak periods as needed.
• Open and close the kitchen properly and assist with closing checklist.
• Assist in routine kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
