Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of food items utilizing grills, fryers, waffle maker and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensures quality of products prepared and served.
• Maintains standard portion sizes and kitchen procedures.
• Stocks stations to ensure smooth service.
• Keeps work stations clean and sanitary, including equipment and refrigeration.
• Executes proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Handles, stores and rotates products properly.
• Assists in food preparation during off-peak periods.
• Opens and closes the kitchen and follows closing checklists.
• Assists in routine kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
