Job summary

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is hiring a kitchen team member to prepare a variety of items on flat tops, grills, fryers, and other equipment in a friendly dining environment. You will help ensure quality, proper portions, and clean station upkeep during busy service hours.

The role requires standing for extended periods and strong grooming and communication skills. Training is provided; team-oriented, fast-paced setting with opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food items using grills and fryers.
• Ensure quality and proper portion sizes.
• Stock and maintain line stations for smooth service.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Handle, store and rotate products properly.
• Assist in food prep during off-peak periods as needed.
• Open and close the kitchen properly and follow closing checklists.
• Assist others in closing the kitchen and in routine cleaning and maintenance.
