Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Ambassador who drives sales by connecting with customers, sharing vendor product knowledge, and upselling. You will build a repeat clientele and serve as the expert for the brand area you represent, coordinating with leadership and the vendor community on merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year previous selling or retail experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, stylists, and store leadership on events and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by making the customer the priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Serve as liaison between vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
• Ensure sales floor is neat, properly signed for sales and markdowns.
• Create and implement best practices to drive sales and gross margin.
• Build brand-specific clientele to support local marketing.
• Execute vendor and non-vendor events to increase sales.
• Plan and lead customer-facing vendor-sponsored events with partner vendors.
• Be proficient in Macy's POS systems to wrap up sales.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect with colleagues and customers.
