Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Brand Experience Leader to collaborate with the Brand Experience Leader in developing outstanding associates and delivering exceptional consumer experiences. You’ll be the frontline leader, driving sales, brand ambassadors, and a connected customer journey across all store activities.

You will oversee talent development, set clear performance expectations, and manage daily operations to optimize the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales and consumer experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous leadership experience, preferably in retail.
• Ability to foster a consumer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication and receptiveness to feedback.
• Ability to coach and de-escalate with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set performance expectations, goals, and accountability for all associates.
• Lead as acting Brand Experience Leader on duty when scheduled.
• Partner with leadership team to execute action plans and improve results.
• Implement floorset direction to bring product stories to life.
• Manage opening/closing routines and bank deposits.
• Set daily direction and goals for the team.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to leaders.
• Meet payroll targets with proper sales floor coverage.
• Lead in-store experiences with strong product knowledge and selling behaviors.
• Build connections with consumers through needs discovery and recommendations.
• Train and motivate associates to improve selling and experiences.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and store standards.
