Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Brand Experience Leader to partner with the Brand Experience Leader in developing outstanding associates and delivering exceptional consumer experiences. You will play a key role in driving growth across the Bath & Body Works brand while leading store leadership, coaching teams, and ensuring operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, consumer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a consumer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a consumer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and consumer situations effectively.
• Ability to meet physical demands as described above.
• Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Act as a leader on duty when scheduled to address consumer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with brand experience leadership to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and disseminate company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to leaders.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store consumer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with consumers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the consumer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
• Maintain safety standards and store appearance; lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders as needed.
• Leaders open/close shifts and work peak traffic times including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
