Job summary

JetFuel in Boston seeks a hands-on Field Marketing Leader to recruit, hire, and train a team of Promotional Specialists and oversee all in-market sampling programs, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to client standards.

You will manage staffing, coaching, client communications, and field reporting, partnering with regional managers to deliver effective promotions, monitor budgets, and drive high-impact brand impressions across assigned regions.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with on/off-premise marketing initiatives.
• Prior promotional agency experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have access to a smartphone.
• Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and event assets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train staff to be knowledgeable about the client’s products, promotions, and industry specifics.
• Act as the local point of contact for client field marketing, with all client communication flowing through field marketing.
• Meet with the client to gather information and stay updated on product and industry knowledge, reporting all competitive activity in the market.
• Staff all required on-premise, off-premise, and special events.
• Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with key JetFuel and client field marketing personnel.
• Provide clear direction, expectations, and constructive feedback to improve execution standards and results.
• Manage HR issues such as performance management and conflict resolution for a team of part-time specialists.
