Job summary

JetFuel in New York is seeking an Area Manager who will recruit, train and lead a team of Promotional Specialists for in-market on- and off-premise sampling programs. You will serve as the local client contact for field marketing and ensure flawless execution aligned with client standards.

You will own day-to-day field leadership, staff all promotions in your region, coach teammates, and report program results to the Regional Sampling Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of adult beverage experience preferred.
• Familiarity with on/off-premise marketing initiatives.
• Prior promotional agency experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have access to a smartphone.
• Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and event assets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train staff to be knowledgeable about the client’s products, promotions, and industry specifics.
• Act as the local point of contact for client field marketing, with all client communication flowing through field marketing.
• Meet with the client to gather information and stay updated on product and industry knowledge, reporting all competitive activity in the market.
• Staff all required on-premise, off-premise, and special events.
• Establish and maintain client relationships aligning JetFuel objectives.
• Staff promotions in assigned geographic regions and ensure execution standards.
• Conduct spot checks to ensure JetFuel quality standards meet client expectations.
• Manage HR issues and budget spend daily, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
