Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Branch Supervisor to oversee staff and branch operations, ensuring a superior customer experience and adherence to policies and procedures.

You will coordinate goals with management, supervise teller activities, and drive growth and service performance across the branch network. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in banking operations, and the ability to train and lead staff toward exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years’ experience in related positions normally required
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
• NMLS registration required under The SAFE Act

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the branch office operations and staff, including approvals and audits
• Set growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office with management input
• Solicit new business from current and prospective customers and maintain relationships
• Monitor sales and service performance against goals and review with manager
• Maintain knowledge of consumer products to meet customer needs
• Lead staff meetings and supervise performance, training and scheduling
• Open and maintain deposit accounts; may make loans under supervision
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and internal controls

• Travel to other branches in the area for coverage when needed
