Job summary

Texas Bay Credit Union in Houston, TX is seeking a Branch Representative to deliver exceptional member service and support Tell ers and Financial Services staff. You will handle daily transactions, loan processing, and serve as a resource for member questions.

You will conduct account maintenance, issue debit cards, process transfers, and balance cash drawers while upholding credit union policies. Strong communication, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Minimum 1 year cash handling and customer service experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer skills.
• Completion of required training courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to members following established expectations.
• Perform account maintenance: debit cards, stop payments, wire transfers, openings/closings.
• Process consumer loans from start to finish with proper documentation.
• Provide credit counseling and guidance to improve member credit scores.
• Resolve member issues with delegated authority and escalate as needed.
• Process home equity loans and manage CVIEW tickets.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain drawer security.
• Educate members on credit union products and services.
• Comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
