Job summary

Texas Bay Credit Union is seeking a Branch Representative to deliver exceptional member service while supporting tellers and financial services staff. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan processing, and credit counseling to help members achieve financial goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of relevant experience, including cash handling and customer service. Strong MS Office skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• Minimum one-year cash handling and customer service experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer skills.
• Completion of required training courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to members following established expectations.
• Perform account maintenance including debit cards, stop payments, wires, and account openings/closures.
• Process consumer loans from start to finish with underwriting considerations and disclosures.
• Provide credit counseling and options to improve credit scores.
• Resolve member issues by applying policies and escalating as needed.
• Prepare and close home equity loans per policy.
• Manage CVIEW tickets and resolve errors.
• Adhere to all policies including identification, validation, and OFAC requirements.
• Educate members about CU products and services to support financial goals.
• Handle transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain cash security.
