Job summary

RBC Wealth Management is seeking a Branch Service Manager (BSM) in Denver to serve as a player-coach between branch operations and Complex management. You will mentor staff, manage onboarding and training, and ensure effective communication of policy changes, while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes improving branch efficiency, supervising staff, and ensuring accurate account handling and funds transfers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial services experience with a solid knowledge of industry rules and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.
• Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63/65) or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Attention to detail and a mindset to make the branch more efficient and effective.
• Bachelor’s degree or job related experience, supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch staff and operations, onboarding, training and motivating staff, providing work direction, and resolving issues or escalating to Complex management.
• Communicate policy and procedural changes that impact branch employees and their ability to perform.
• Onboard new accounts, record securities, and ensure proper transmission to the Complex main office and Minneapolis per RBC procedures.
• Oversee cage activities to ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, answer account questions, and facilitate transfers, trades, and checks.
