Job summary

RBC Wealth Management in Frederick seeks a Branch Service Manager/Client Associate to lead branch staff, ensure smooth operations, and maintain strong client relationships. The role entails onboarding, supervising staff, and coordinating with Complex management to resolve issues.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree (or related experience), 3+ years in financial services, Series 7/66 or be able to obtain within 12 months, and a detail-oriented, collaborative approach to improve branch

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or job-related experience.
3+ years of financial services experience with knowledge of industry rules.
Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.
Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Attention to detail and focus on improving branch efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee branch staff and operations, onboarding, training, and motivation; provide work direction and escalate issues to Complex management.
Communicate policy and procedural changes impacting staff performance.
Onboard new accounts, record securities and coupons, and ensure proper transmission to Complex main office and Minneapolis.
Oversee cage activities to ensure timely processing of transactions.
Build and maintain client relationships; assist with account questions, funds transfers, and processing checks, wires, and ACHs.
