Job summary

SouthPoint Financial Credit Union is seeking a Service Manager for our Minnesota branch. You will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance, security and excellent member service, and coach staff to meet sales and service goals.

Focus is on building a strong service culture, training staff, managing schedules, and coordinating with Retail Service Manager and Market Managers to align with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of high school education or equivalent.
• Three years of progressive work experience in a financial institution preferred, or 2 year degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in management or supervisory capacity preferred.
• Requires intermediate mathematical skills (calculations and concepts involving decimals, fractions, percentages, etc.).
• Intermediate Automated Systems skills required.
• Must meet SAFE ACT registration requirements.
• Requires thorough knowledge of the Credit Union's policies, procedures, programs, products and services as they relate to assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train new and existing staff in the role of Member Advisor.
• Evaluate job performance of branch employees to ensure quality of work and service to members.
• Maintain ongoing communication with their manager on problems and changes.
• Encourage cooperation among staff to ensure a team approach and courteous service.
• Lead in a sales and service culture to grow branch profitability and member satisfaction.
• Coach and support in department and across the organization.
• Implement and maintain procedures to maximize efficiency and quality of service.
