Job summary

First Community Credit Union in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Service Specialist Manager to lead member service and reception across multiple branches, ensuring exceptional service, sales support, and regulatory compliance.

You will coach staff, manage scheduling and performance, oversee cash operations and internal controls, and strengthen member relationships in line with FCCU's community‑focused mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in a financial institution with cash handling.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of consumer and business deposit products and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to resolve issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems; strong data entry and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage member service and reception operations across multiple branch locations to ensure service excellence, sales support, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop assigned branch personnel, fostering a positive, professional, and high‑performing team environment.
• Lead by example in sales and service behaviors by identifying member needs and promoting appropriate products and services.
• Provide daily leadership through work assignment, scheduling, training, performance management, and review of work for accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee branch cash operations and internal controls, including vault security, cash ordering, balancing, audits, and dual control procedures.
• Serve members directly by processing transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
