Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Branch Sales Associate at our Albuquerque location to provide exceptional service, drive sales, and support warehouse tasks. You will engage walk-in customers, assist with product selection, entry of orders, and safe loading for customer vehicles.

Responsibilities include merchandising, stock put-away, inventory counts, and operating multiple computer systems. The role requires adaptability, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety guidelines within Grainger's branch

Qualifications

• Must provide strong customer service and sales orientation.
• Ability to adapt communication style to differing audiences.
• Willingness to perform warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience including product selection, accurate order entry, safely picking product, and safely loading customer vehicle.
• Look for opportunities to maximize sales and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style to email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping product.
• Prepare customer backorders and put away other stock received.
• Help with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Learn and navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to ensure branch appearance meets Grainger standards.
• Agree to safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
