Rexel USA is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Michigan to support branch operations and drive profitability. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and maintain relationships with key customers while ensuring safety and compliance across daily activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience
• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack certification preferred
• Valid driver's license if deliveries required
• High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be 21+ and maintain clean MVR
• Must obtain medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability by using company digital tools to maximize branch performance
• Develop, train, and supervise associates
• Recognize personnel problems and take corrective actions as needed
• Deal effectively with daily customer service issues
• Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers
• Greet and assist call-in and walk-in customers with product selection and delivery
• Conduct/oversee inventory control procedures and warehouse housekeeping
• Implement branch safety standards and conduct asset inspections
• Participate in inventory control and advise Branch Manager of problems
• Maintain branch facility, warehouse, and office equipment
• Schedule branch staff for daily coverage
• Assist Branch Manager with monitoring branch expenses and corrective actions
• Make deliveries to branches/customers as required
• Perform other duties including counter sales and stocking as needed
