Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to leverage your leadership to coordinate the delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity.

You will work closely with the Branch Manager to supervise safety, branch metrics, and Rental Flow efficiency while delivering world‑class sales and customer service. This role requires guiding staff, coaching performance, handling quotations, reservations and contracts, and ensuring cost controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in achieving financial objectives.
• Assist Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support sales and customer service, including quotes, reservations, contracts.
• Maximize efficiency by training staff and enforcing the Rental Flow Process.
• Handle day-to-day operations including opening/closing, cash reconciliation, deposits.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety and accountability through leadership and communication.
• Other duties as needed.
