Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate and direct the delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity. You will work with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, performance, and Rental Flow efficiency while delivering world-class sales and customer support.

You will lead staff, monitor metrics, coach for improvement, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred for supervisory track.
Bachelor’s degree also preferred helps with leadership scope.
Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
Support sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence.
Maximize operational effectiveness by ensuring staff is trained and compliant with processes.
May be responsible for day-to-day operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
Motivate, coach and train personnel.
Promote safety and discipline through leadership and accountability.
