Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Branch Manager in delivering quality service, driving branch productivity, and ensuring safety and policy compliance. You will lead and develop staff, oversee sales initiatives, and promote a customer-first culture across the team.

With a focus on safety, code of conduct, and efficient operations, you will play a key role in achieving financial goals while maintaining world-class service standards for customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Strong leadership and motivation abilities.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in achieving financial objectives.
• Assist in ensuring policy compliance across the branch.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Performance manage direct staff including Inside Sales Reps and Drivers.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety and discipline through leadership and accountability.
• Handle other duties as needed.
