Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC is seeking a Branch Operations Assistant in Ashland, KY to handle customer inquiries, clerical duties, and yard functions including loader operation. The role supports the Branch Supervisor and Manager, with outdoor work in all weather and opportunities to learn forklift operation within 90 days.

Responsibilities include processing orders, data entry, answering questions, handling paperwork for auction day, vehicle detailing, and safe movement of vehicles around the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership, time management, and independent work.
• Proven problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation within 90 days.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support via mail, phone, and in person.
• Process orders and enter data into the system.
• Reference pricing and delivery information.
• Address customer questions, complaints, and requests.
• Perform clerical duties and word processing.
• Handle paperwork for auction day and approvals.
• Follow established procedures under supervisor guidance.
• Open to learning automobile titling.
• Assist with other office functions as needed.
• Record vehicle check-in details and maintain records.
• Detail vehicles to improve appearance and value for auction.
• Safely move vehicles on site and park correctly.
• Assist visitors and direct them as needed.
• Loader operation experience preferred.
• Report policy violations promptly.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Yard Attendants, Loaders, and CSRs.
• Other duties as assigned.
