Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC (IAA), a Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers company, seeks a Branch Operations Assistant to handle customer inquiries, data entry, and yard tasks at the Kentucky facility.

You will support loaders, move vehicles, and assist with auction-day preparations, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. The role requires forklift readiness within 90 days, strong communication, and experience in equipment/rental or construction.

Qualifications

• Leadership and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and staff.
• Willing to learn forklift operation within 90 days.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
• Experience in equipment rental or construction industry preferred.
• Basic automotive repair skills preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Outdoor work in all kinds of weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support through mail, phone, and direct contact.
• Enter data and process orders in the computer system.
• Reference pricing and delivery information.
• Respond to customer questions, complaints, and requests.
• Perform word processing, filing and related clerical duties.
• Process all necessary paperwork for auction day and approvals.
• Follow established procedures under supervisor guidance.
• Open to learning automobile titling.
• Assist with other office functions as needed.
• Vehicle check-in by recording and filing information.
• Detail (thoroughly clean) vehicles for auction appearance.
• Safely operate vehicles to move them around the facility.
• Assist visitors by guiding them to the right person.
• Experienced loader operation.
• Report violations of company policy to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
