Job summary

First South Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a branch operations leader to supervise all phases of daily operations at the Memphis area branch. You will plan, organize, motivate, train, and communicate to ensure smooth service and compliance.

You will mentor staff, set goals, prepare monthly reports, manage cash handling and policy adherence, and participate in needs-based sales while expanding community involvement. This role requires a business degree and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; master’s preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle member concerns and meet deadlines.
• Experience with loan and teller functions.
• Goal-oriented and highly motivated.
• Presentation skills for meetings and external seminars.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all phases of branch operations.
• Plan, organize, motivate, train, and communicate.
• Prepare monthly board reports and meet deadlines.
• Mentor staff and provide career pathing.
• Ensure cash handling controls and policy adherence.
• Develop and implement branch policies; approve leave.
• Lead sales program and cross-sell to members.
• Coordinate with indirect partners for funding when needed.
