Job summary

First Entertainment Credit Union is seeking an Associate Branch Manager to assist the Branch Manager in overseeing service expectations, goal achievement, and daily branch operations. You will motivate and train teammates, drive cross-sell and production efforts, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service.

The role includes managing accounts, certificates, IRAs, and loans while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• . High school diploma or equivalent; or completion of a business/trade program preferred.
• . Prior leadership/manager/supervisor experience is preferred.
• . Notary certification or the ability to become certified within 12 months.
• . 2–5 years of experience in a full-service financial institution or related field; at least 2 years supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• . In-depth knowledge of Credit Union products, procedures, guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
• . Knowledge of applicable regulations; ability to read, speak and write clearly; effective communication.
• . Proficiency in MS Office and Symitar for Windows (Episys).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the effective and efficient performance of branch production, quality service, sales, and operations.
• Lead, supervise, and train staff, ensuring knowledge and skill level aligns with duties; emphasize cross-selling.
• Actively follow up on new and pending accounts to maximize cross-sell opportunities.
• Manage employee life cycle events such as recruiting, coaching, development, and performance feedback.
• Maintain controls for tasks including card issuance, branch opening/closing, cash handling, and negotiable instruments.
• Serve as a Membership Officer responsible for review, verification and approval of new accounts.
• Provide coverage support to other branches as requested by leadership.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
