Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Branch Operations Specialist to support Retail banking teams and improve branch efficiency. This on-site role in Georgia involves assisting with opening and maintenance tasks, teller operations, and regulatory compliance to ensure accurate service.

You will guide associates, answer questions, and promote a strong customer experience while maintaining compliance and processing accuracy across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years of branch banking or related experience preferred.
• Experience as Branch Operations Coordinator or Teller Supervisor preferred.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and procedures.
• Ability to interpret policies and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely assistance to Retail associates by answering questions related to account opening, account maintenance, teller transactions, retail systems, and operational procedures.
• Investigate operational questions, interpret policies and procedures, and provide clear guidance that supports consistent branch execution.
• Help banking center associates navigate systems, regulatory requirements, and day-to-day operational processes while delivering outstanding internal customer service.
• Complete reports, track operational data, and follow up on outstanding items to support Branch Administration and leadership.
• Assist with procedure updates, system enhancements, operational projects, and other initiatives that improve branch efficiency and effectiveness.
• Partner with fellow Branch Operations Specialists to ensure continuous support for banking centers across the organization.
• Apply Bank policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting consistent execution throughout the retail network.
