Job summary

CK Supply Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Director of Branch Ops to lead branch performance, people management, and customer service excellence. You will implement policy, oversee daily operations, and travel to multiple branches across IL, MO, and KS to ensure strong scorecard results.

You will drive sales, mentor teams, enforce safety, and partner with outside organizations, fostering a high-engagement, results-driven culture within a family-owned distributor with 75+ years of history.

Qualifications

• Higher Education Degree
• 5 years management experience in a similar type of role
• Preferred welding equipment and gas knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to handle diverse individuals and situations in a professional manner
• Proficient in operating office equipment, including but not limited to computer, phone, fax machine, etc...
• Proficient in basic computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to move and handle merchandise up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time as well as ability to stoop, twist, kneel and bend

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute on company policy and strategy as it pertains to customer service and branch operations.
• Overseeing daily functions, promoting company policies & complying with guidelines.
• Quarterly check-ins with your team of direct reports.
• Weekly L10's with the assistance from regional branch managers
• Monitoring retail sales and accountability for all branches
• Regular visits and travel to all branch stores in IL, MO, and KS
• Accountable for performance on key scorecard metrics for each branch
• Administrative sales and customer service support for all sales groups including Retail/Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Tech Center.
• Support CK relationship with outside organizations (MCA, ASA, SMACNA, AWS, etc)
• Serve on the product committee and other committees as needed
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
