Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a leader to operate a small-volume distribution center to support company goals. The role covers strategic and day-to-day DC management including financial oversight, fleet and inventory control, and vendor management.

You will mentor staff, analyze performance data to drive results, and ensure adherence to sales, safety, HR, and legal procedures. A valid MVR check is required as part of the selection process.

Qualifications

• Inventory management and purchasing experience.
• Customer service experience.
• 5+ years of Distribution Center operations experience.
• Experience maintaining processes and procedures.
• An understanding of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of a small-volume distribution center in support of company goals.
• Oversee DC financial management, operational performance, planning and execution, distribution, fleet, inventory, vendor management, and leadership including performance management.
• Provide input and feedback to the Regional Operations Manager on operations, processes and results.
• Operate a Company Vehicle or Personal Vehicle; MVR report required (>20% of the work week).
• Drive problem solving and actionable solutions for customers and team.
