QXO is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily operations, lead the team, and ensure safety and service excellence at our Columbia, SC branch.

You will assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence, champion a safety culture, and ensure compliance with audits while coordinating schedules and training for staff. A two-year degree or equivalent and prior supervisory experience are preferred, with Spanish bilingual abilities a plus.

Competenze

• Associate degree or equivalent educational background.
• Operational experience in building materials or construction.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Experience in supervising others.
• Knowledge of exterior logistics.

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence, assuring smooth daily operations.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees comprehend and strictly follow safety protocol and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with audit procedures and regulations, including daily cash drawer maintenance and financial accounting.
• Optimize warehouse and store layout for efficiency and schedule equipment maintenance.
• Create and update work schedules; review and approve hours worked by employees.
