Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day branch operations, oversee scheduling, invoicing, and service activities, and enhance customer relationships. The role includes fleet maintenance coordination, safety compliance, and staff performance reviews.

Ideal candidates have field experience in propane/distillate retail, CDL with Hazmat endorsements, and strong leadership with customer service focus. This position may require evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of DOT safety requirements and Hazmat handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service scheduling, customer care, and invoicing.
• Project workforce and material planning for seasonal demand.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and fleet readiness.
• Manage distribution, storage, and service operations at the branch.
• Ensure safety meetings are conducted and DOT compliance maintained.
