Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking a District Manager to lead district operations with a focus on safety, profitability, and customer experience. You will oversee staffing, budgets, and compliance across multiple locations, ensuring efficient processes and strong performance.

The role requires DOT standards knowledge, a strong management background in propane or related fields, and the ability to drive growth while maintaining safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
• 5+ years in the propane industry preferred, some managing employees.
• Ability to manage multiple locations.
• Active knowledge of DOT standards and expectations.
• Valid CDL a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety codes and policies are followed, vehicles serviced, and customer installations comply with regulations.
• Develops plans for long-term customer growth and financial goals.
• Ensures daily/weekly/monthly processes and reporting are accurate and timely.
• Plans and manages staffing and communicates strategic goals.
• Controls operating expenses by monitoring productivity and resource use.
• Oversees cash control, inventory, documentation, and audits.
• Proactively handles district purchasing and expenditures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
