Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Supervisor of Operations to lead branch operations, coordinating the distribution of home medical equipment and services to patients’ homes. You will oversee logistics, inventory, and staff, ensuring accurate, timely delivery while complying with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration with leadership, addressing service concerns, and maintaining high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Five years’ experience in HME leadership is required.
• Relevant experience in health care, insurance customer services, claims, billing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations, providing leadership and coordination of services for home medical equipment, supplies and services.
• Manage logistics team to meet delivery goals and maintain cost efficiency.
• Control inventory and place purchase orders per restocking protocol.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with leadership and referral sources to improve patient services.
• Conduct root cause analyses for service failures and implement improvements.
• Maintain relationships with ordering physicians and referral sources and share visit reports as needed.
• Assist with equipment problems during emergencies and with preventative maintenance.
