Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Supervisor, Operations to oversee branch operations, lead logistics, and ensure timely delivery of home medical equipment and services to patients’ homes. The role requires coordinating with leadership, health systems, hospice partners, and referral sources.

You will manage inventory, drive process improvements, and maintain regulatory compliance while leading a team and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Five years’ experience in HME leadership required.
• Relevant healthcare, insurance customer services, claims, or billing experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and coordinate services to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
• Lead logistics team; provide daily direction and ensure orders are routed efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Manage inventory and collaborate with department leaders to ensure timely, safe delivery of goods and services.
• Place purchase orders per restocking protocol and maintain branch-level inventory control.
• Maintain relationships with ordering physicians and referral sources; communicate patient condition updates.
