Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, seeks a results-driven leader to manage a profit center in Dayton, OH. You will recruit, train, and supervise the sales team while aligning cross-functional efforts and steering strategy using trend analysis.

Maintain strong vendor relationships, collaborate with the Branch Credit Manager to ensure financial stability, and foster a safety-first culture while developing future leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) or 1–2 years related experience.
• Prior leadership in industry.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Refined leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a profit center, including operations and administration.
• Recruit, train, and lead the sales team, and work cross functionally with other departments.
• Make strategic decisions based on trend analysis to identify profitable business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Branch Credit Manager to establish an appropriate account base and ensure financial stability.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, leveraging manufacturer information to market products and services.
• Foster a positive work environment and develop future leaders.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
